Wondering ...

The purpose of this blog has yet to be determined. Inspiration has yet to strike, but I hope it does so quickly. In my experience, the eight weeks of class fly by quickly, and I would hate to still be wondering what to blog about in Week 7.

Since we are learning how to use various Web 2.0 applications in this course, perhaps I should blog about my thoughts on each one and how I could see it being used in my academy. What I would really like to do is actually implement a different one each week (my seniors would make fantastic guinea pigs) but that is not possible given the red-tape that I will need to go through at school to even get blogs up and running in my classes.

Back to the drawing board ... waiting for inspiration ...

I'm in your class too, and I love your blog about nothing! I'm having trouble deciding what my blog purpose should be too. As a last resort, I was going to write about how cute my dog is, but my husband talked me out of it by citing the lack of "educational value"....

Sometimes I think just blogging in general has educational value in itself. Just like our students learn from us and we learn from them everyday, we can also learn from each other, even if we aren't talking about anything in particular in our blogs. I love you site! How do you get the like embedded in the word, so all you have to do is click on the word?

Thank you for your thoughtfulness in your blogging. The article that I read for the class assignment reflected on the true nature of a blog being one of true sentiment and sincerity rather than something scripted for a critical audience. But, it seems by now that you have found your blog must... so best of luck.
